Adult Programs

Led by Linda Compton, this discussion-styled class engages in a variety of topics as we seek to discover the will of God for the world around us. The class gathers in the Youth Room for engaging fellowship and study.

This class is for mature adults, led by Debby Baker. It meets in the classroom in Pike Hall.  This is a lively, interactive discussion class using Methodist materials.

Family Ministry Night – Every Wednesday, Whitehouse UMC gathers for Family Ministry Night beginning at 6:00 pm. Students and adults engage in a time of worship, study, and mission opportunities followed by a family style potluck meal. Adult Bible Study is available for adults of all ages.

CHANCEL CHOIR – Choir Director Jerry Compton
The music ministry at Whitehouse United Methodist is a vibrant ministry for all ages. Our goal is to glorify God and inspire others with exciting and worshipful music. Music is one way we share our faith and experience community in fellowship as we praise God. As a beginner or seasoned musician, you are invited to share your musical talents! The Chancel Choir gathers on Wednesdays beginning at 7:15 pm,  following Family Ministry Night potluck dinner. The Chancel Choir provides the music for the 9:30 a.m. worship hour.

Whitehouse United Methodist Men (UMM) was organized in the late 1970’s. The UMM is open to all men of the church. Membership is $12 per year. We meet the 3rd Monday of each month at 6:30 PM for a time of food, fellowship and programs of interest to the men. The UMM hosts the annual  Sweet Heart Banquet ever year and treat the ladies of the church to a nice meal and entertainment.  On occasion, we invite guest speakers to come in for a special program.

The UMM does minor repairs on the church building. We help support the children and youth activities through the aluminum can collection. The group does minor projects on senior citizens homes (ramps, doors, windows). We also have an annual fish fry to celebrate the year.

If you enjoy great fellowship and desire to grow in your faith please come!  Join us on the 3rd Monday of every month at 6:30 pm! We meet in Friendship Hall in the very back of the building.  See you there!

The Methodist Women go out for dinner during the Methodist Men’s meeting. Come join us for a time of feasting and fellowship with one another and the Lord.

Specializing in the old Gospel favorites, Four Or More is a men’s ensemble that enjoys performing for a variety of events including the Sweetheart banquet, special benefit concerts, and they even bless us in worship.

Filled with individuals that enjoy being a good steward of what God has provided, these men meet every Wednesday at the Donut Shop in Whitehouse, then go to the church to take care of maintenance.

Meet the first Thursday of each month at 6:45 pm in Friendship Hall. This gathering includes beginner beekeepers as well as life-long beekeepers.  A “Questions and Answers” pre-meeting is held beginning at 6:00 pm in Pike Hall.
