Junior High and Senior High
* Sunday School - Junior High: An exciting meeting place for
6th, 7th and 8th grade students where we learn to walk more
closely with Christ and one another. This class meets upstairs
and spends time focusing on the teachings of Christ the
*Sunday School - Senior High: The discussion type class gets
a jump on Pastor Matt’s sermon by exploring the scriptures
for the day. Sr. High meets in the Side-by-Side room.
* United Methodist Youth Fellowship is a gathering of 6th–12th
grade students. These age appropriate groups meet each
Wednesday evening in conjunction with our Family Ministry
Night beginning at 6:00 p.m. All Senior High students meet
with Pastor Matt and use hands-on missional activities.
Junior High students meet with Keith and Christina engage
in missional activities and discussion time as they all learn
to walk more closely to Christ and one another. The Junior
High students also engage in a time of Confirmation. At
6:45, the church family gathers together for a Family Styled
meal and games.
*Big House is a summer program offered to Junior High youth.
This 4 day work camp gives the students an opportunity to
learn how to be the hands and feet of Christ within the
* UM Army is a summer program offered to Senior High youth,
giving them a chance to reach out to other communities,
doing carpentry and repair work for needy elderly
people. Whitehouse UMC has also been a “base camp” for
several UM Army groups working in our community during
* The District Camping program is for students aged 3rd grade
through the summer after graduation. District Camp is a
Biblically based camp for students to learn to walk more
closely with God. Bible Study, Small Covenant styled groups,
Worship, and games aplenty fill this amazing week of growing
closer to God and one another.
